The Credit Card Settlement Report is a new Settlement Process that runs from End of Day Wizard. It is part of the Exports section, which allows it to be run again if there are problems during settlement processing.
This report has had it's form properties changed so that it cannot be minimised or closed during the settlement process.
- This report is used for the TSYS Acquiring Solutions (formerly VITAL) Payment Interface in the US, the CardPool, EDC and VTI Payment Interfaces in Taiwan.
Terms Used
Term | Description |
Credit Card & Number |
The Credit Card type is listed first, i.e. MASTERCARD. All transaction numbers which are relevant to this credit card type are then listed afterwards. This listing is in numeric order. |
Expiry Date |
The expiry date of the credit card used. This is in YYYYMM format, i.e. 201012. |
Amount |
The amount of each individual credit card transaction. To see the total figures per individual credit card types, refer to the 'Card Total' section of this report. To find the absolute total of all credit card types combined, refer to the 'Settlement File Total' section. |
Workstation |
The workstation name where each credit card transaction was recorded. |
Transaction Date and Time |
The date and time at which each credit card transaction was recorded. Date is recorded in DDMMYYY format. time is recorded in HHMMSS am or pm format. |
Transaction Number |
Each credit card payment is given an individual transaction number once the order has been completed. This is recorded here. |
Bank Authorisation |
Bank Authorisation is the code number that the bank sends back after each credit card transaction has taken place. This will be a unique number. |
Terminal ID |
Terminal ID records the banks terminal identification number. |
Payment History Transaction No. |
This field records the unique transaction number from the payments module. |
Transaction Status |
This field records the status of the Settlement File. In most cases it will be sent to an ascribed directory. |
Card Total (Per Type) |
The Card Total section of this report allows you to see the total figures per individual credit card types. |
Settlement File Total |
The Settlement File Total refers to the absolute total of all credit card transactions combined. This combined the various individual credit card types. |
