Generally, sessions set in the future will have no ticket sales against them because it may be a few weeks before they screen. Unsold future sessions aren't a reliable representation of how popular a film is, and they could offset the box office ratio for a film. To prevent this issue, you can exclude these sessions from the box office ratio calculation at Head Office.
Note: Head Office flags unsold future sessions to make them easy to differentiate from sessions that have sales.
Decide which unsold future sessions you want to include in the box office ratio calculation by selecting a time period relative to the screening date. For example, you could include only sessions within 14 days of the screening. Go to Head Office > Maintenance > System Settings and configure the FutureZeroSaleSessionUploadDays setting.
Optionally, adjust any specific box office ratio calculation by deleting the future session in Cinema Manager. This action will immediately exclude the session and update the session box office ratio, and it will also delete the session in Head Office if the session was already uploaded.
