Attribute Inheritance

Film Bookings and Sessions can inherit attributes from the film, movie format, screen, or booking during scheduling.

Note: Sessions inherit only attributes with a type of Concept from Film Programming bookings.

Select the Inherit to Session option on the Attribute form to have the system copy the attribute to a session. Use this option for any attributes that you want to display in sales channels like POS, Kiosk, or Vista Web and on signage.

Note: Different scheduling and film programming processes inherit attributes in different ways, depending on the information that is available at each stage of the process. Inheritance is also affected by the process of Movie Format to Screen matching.
