Configuring embedded card payments

Allow patrons to complete corporate sales transactions within your cinema's website, rather than redirecting them to another webpage. 

Important! When enabled, embedded card payments replace any previously configured integrated credit card payment settings for both self-service and public-portal payments.

1. In Head Office > Maintenance > System settings, set GroupSales_EnableEmbeddedPayments to Yes.
2. Configure system setting WebPaymentModuleURL by replacing the value localhost with the appropriate server name, IP address, or DNS.
3. If you already have payment connectors enabled, then update the Web Payment Gateway in Head Office:
   1. Go to Head Office > Maintenance > Payment buttons.
   2. Open the payment button you want to configure to support embedded card payments.
   3. Ensure the web payment gateway matches the embedded payment method enabled in Connect or Digital Platform. 
      

      Important! Ensure only one payment gateway is configured, even when supporting different payment methods (such as credit card and debit card).

4. If you don't already have payment connectors enabled, then contact Vista support to complete your setup.
