The Inventory Movement report lets you monitor stock movement and identify item class purchase and sale cycles for all cinema sites or for specific sites over a specified date range.
The report can be run by multiple users at the same time. However, only the data relevant to the user will be visible.
Prompts Used
Prompt | Description |
Date Range |
Generates the report with stock movement data for item classes during the selected date range. |
Cinema |
Enables reporting on a specific configured cinema site, or all configured cinema sites. |
Item Class |
The specific Item Class which report sections are grouped by. |
Split Cinema |
If Yes, report data is generated and separated by cinema sites. If No, report data is generated over an entire circuit. |
Use Cinema Costs |
If Yes, report data is generated using cinema costs. If No, report data is generated using the cost price of the item as defined in the Bulk Items application in Head Office. |

Opening Stock |
The units and item value of the stock at the start of the defined date period. |
Stock Receipts |
The units and item value of incoming stock within the defined date period. |
Stock Sold |
The units and item value of the stock sold within the defined date period. |
Transfers/Waste |
The units and item value of stock transferred or wasted within the defined date period. |
Stock Adjustments |
Manual amendments made against the units and item value of stock. |
Calculated Closing Stock |
The Opening Stock value plus/minus stock movement (Stock Receipts, Stock Sold, Transfers/Waste). |
Closing Stock |
The units and stock value of the item based on stocktake. |
Variance |
The difference between the Calculated Closing Stock and Closing Stock. |
Item Class |
The specific Item Class which report sections are grouped by. |
Item Class Total |
The sum of the specific Item Class report columns. |
Site Total |
The sum of the specific cinema Site report columns. |
Grand Total |
The sum of all report column Totals. |
