The Box Office by Distributor & Weekday report shows the box office revenue generated from each film, on each day of the selected business week. Films are grouped by distributor, and you can filter the report to show films only for a selected distributor. Totals are also displayed per cinema and per distributor, as well as a Grand Totals section on the last page of the report.
This report could be run at the end of each business week, or after a weekend, and sent to a distributor to track the box office success of their films.
Report Prompts

Date Range |
The period for which the report is generated. Any film week that falls within the specified date range is included in the report. If sites use different film week start days, a date range showing the earliest and latest start days is displayed. |

Distributor |
Select the distributor for which to show information. Select (all) to show information for all distributors. |

Display Admits |
Determines whether film admit amounts are displayed on the report. |

The sound format that the film uses. |

Seats |
The number of seats in the cinema screen used to show the film. |

The screen number identifying the screen that the film is shown in. |

Week of Release |
The number of weeks that the film has been showing. |

Weekdays |
Each day of the week has a column with corresponding gross Box Office revenue for each film. |

Total |
The total of the Box Office weekday figures for each film. |

Admits |
The number of admits for the film - displayed for each day, and a total is given. Admits are only displayed if the report prompt Display Admits is set to Yes. |

Total for the Cinema |
The following three fields make up the totals section for the cinema. |

Total Box Office |
The total Box Office weekday amounts for the cinema are displayed as well as the overall total for all weekday admits for all films in the cinema. |

Total Admits |
The total number of admits for each weekday for the cinemas are displayed as well as the overall total for all weekday admits for all films in the cinema. |

Average Ticket Price |
The average ticket price for each day for the cinema. The average ticket price for the week is also displayed in the Total column. |

Grand Totals |
The Grand Totals section is displayed on the last page of this report. It consists of the Box Office total, Admits total and Average Ticket Price total. |

Total Box Office (Grand Total) |
The total Box Office amount for each week day for all the cinemas. The total of all the weekdays for all cinemas is also displayed. |

Total Admits (Grand Total) |
The total admits for each week day for all the cinemas. The total of all the weekdays for all cinemas is also displayed. |

Average Ticket Price (Grand Total) |
The average ticket price for each week day for all the cinemas is displayed, as well as the total of all the weekdays for all the cinemas. |
