This report displays box office revenue and film hire values for each film, grouped by each cinema, for the date range selected. A number of key statistics such as occupancy percentage and average ticket price are also shown for each film, and in a summarised line for each cinema.

This report is useful as a weekly summary of film hire for a cinema, and could be generated for an accounts team.

Report Prompts

Prompt	Description
Date Range	Select the date range for which to show data.
Cinema	Filter the report to display results from a particular cinema. Select (all) to display results from all cinemas.

Terms Used

Term	Description
Cinema	The cinema at which the film was shown.
Film	The film shown.
Screen	The screen number identifying the screen that the film is shown in.
Sessions	The number of sessions shown for the film.
Admits	The total number of admits (paid and comp) for sessions for the film.
Occupancy %	The average occupancy percentage of sessions for the film. This is calculated as the total number of admits divided by the total number of available seats for each session.
Average Ticket Price	The average price of all tickets sold for sessions of the film. This is calculated as the Gross Collections for the film, divided by the total number of admits.
Gross Collections	The total Box Office revenue for the film, including tax.
Net Collections	The total Box Office revenue for the film, excluding tax.
Film hire	The amount of film hire paid for the selected cinema and film for the date range selected.
Net Film Income	The Net Collections for the film, less the film hire paid for the film.
Film Hire %	The film hire as a percentage of the Net Collections.
Distributor	The Distributor of the corresponding Film.
Terms of Play	The distribution terms for the film.
