The Film Rental Expense report shows details of all film hire payments and adjustments made within a specified date range. Box Office takings, current film hire, terms, and adjustment amounts are shown for each film, distributor, or week. This report can be created in a format suitable for exporting to a spreadsheet.

Select a film to limit the report to a single film, or select (all) to show data for all films. |

Generates the report as a Microsoft Excel file rather than a PDF. |

Distributor |
The distributor of the corresponding Film. |
Film and Format |
The film shown in this date range. The movie format associated with the film's contract is appended to the film title. If a film contract is associated with all formats, no format information will be shown. Note: If a film's contract is associated with 2D and 3D movie formats, but only 2D sessions have been shown for that film in the date range selected, the Film and Format column will still show 2D and 3D. |
Acct Month Year |
The accounting month and year for film hire payment for the film. Example: September 2015 = Sep-15 |
Acct Week |
The business week in which the film was shown. |
Contract Week |
The week of the film hire contract associated with the film, based on the start date of the contract. If the film has had a new contract assigned after it has opened, the Contract Week will be different to the film's week of play. |
Play Dates |
The start and end dates for the film hire row. These dates are seven days apart unless the date range of the report cuts off part of a business week. |
Adjustment Date-time |
The date and time at which a film hire adjustment was made for the film. |
Current Box Office |
The total Box Office takings for the film for the week. This is either a gross or net amount, as determined by the system setting CalculateOnRevenueValue. |
Play Week Box Office |
The total Box Office takings for the film for the Play Week. This is either a gross or net amount, as determined by the system setting CalculateOnRevenueValue. |
Previous Terms % |
This column is only populated if a film hire adjustment was made for the film, and shows the pre-adjustment film hire percentage. |
Current Terms % |
The film hire percentage used in the contract for the film. For weeks in which a film hire adjustment was made, this is the post-adjustment film hire percentage value. |
Current Film Hire |
The final calculated film hire amount, including post-calculation adjustments, to be paid to the distributor for the week. |
Film Hire Adjusted |
The monetary value of the difference in film hire to be paid for the week, based on a film hire adjustment. This can be either a positive or negative amount, and is only populated for weeks in which a film hire adjustment was made. |
Prior Period Adjustments |
If a film hire adjustment was made within the selected date range for this report but the film hire week falls outside the selected date range (in a previous business period), this column shows the monetary value of the difference in film hire, based on the film hire adjustment. |
Prior Year Adjustments |
If a film hire adjustment was made within the selected date range for this report but the film hire week falls outside the selected date range (in a previous year), this column shows the monetary value of the difference in film hire, based on the film hire adjustment. |
