The user permissions you set in Vouchers and Gift Cards are also applied to Voucher Manager. This lets you manage which user groups can view, edit, and delete records across both applications, in one place.

When configuring user group permissions in Vouchers and Gift Cards, the module you select also corresponds to a particular area of the Voucher Manager application.

Steps

Configure user permissions for Voucher Manager in the same way that you do for Vouchers and Gift Cards. The two applications share the permissions you set for each user group.

1. Within Vouchers and Gift Cards, Navigate to User Groups.
2. On the User Group tab, select a user group to configure from the drop-down menu.
3. If you want to allow full access to the application, select Full access to modules.

   Otherwise, leave this cleared, and a list of individual modules will display.

4. Select a module and either select or clear its corresponding permissions.

   Accessibility follows two basic hierarchies: Read < Edit < Create and Read < Delete. This means, for example, that if you enable a user group to Create an entity, those users will automatically be able to view and edit the entity. Likewise, users with Delete enabled can automatically view that entity.

   Note: Buttons in the Voucher Manager interface will be hidden for those without permission to use them.

5. Click Apply.
