Choose whether patrons receive just one ticket, or a ticket per film, for the marathon.

This option is only available for marathon film records. 

The film records you want to include in the marathon.

For each film in the grid you must also choose the default format of the film, the break time (min), and the box office split (relative). 

This option is only available for marathon film records.

Movie formats

Any configured movie format (one selection, multiple selections, or cleared)

The Movie formats that apply to the film.

Use the format's attributes to make sure films are scheduled on screens with matching attributes, or that the correct format is selected automatically during scheduling. You must select at least one format.

For example: Digital and/or Non-digital (35mm).

For each format that applies to a film, the Movie formats grid also displays the Format, Comscore release code, and Number of prints.

Attributes

Any configured attribute (selected or cleared)

The default Attributes which apply to the Film.

For example: A film that is in 3D may be configured with an attribute called 3D.

Tip: Use this field to select attributed you want to advertise to the public, such as Imax or child-friendly screenings. Use Movie formats for attributes you don't want to advertise (such as projection requirements) or that need to be scheduled on specific screens.

Note: Films may be configured with their own attributes here, or they may inherit them from their Movie format. Attributes can be overridden when scheduling in the Showtime Manager application.

Film territory

Any available territory

The film territory which applies to the film, used for reporting purposes. 

Important: This will prepend the name of the film with the territory code. 

For example: If your film name is The Matrix and you choose New Zealand as the film territory, the film name automatically updates to nz The Matrix. The Title override field is also updated with the original name The Matrix to use for marketing purposes.

Note: Only available if the system setting EnableFilmTerritory is set to Yes, Required or Yes, Optional. 

Title override

Pre-populated field 

The name of the film used for marketing purposes.

Note: This field is hidden when the system setting EnableFilmTerritory is set to No.

Sound format

Any configured sound format (selected or cleared)

The Sound formats which apply to the film, used for projection information purposes.

For example: Dolby Digital (SRD), Datasat, SDDS.

Original audio language

Any one language option

The original soundtrack and language of the film as recorded during production.

Available audio languages

Any combination of language options

All the soundtracks in different languages that are available for the film.

Subtitle languages

Any combination of language options

A text transcription of film dialogue projected onto the screen as the film plays. Typically subtitles are in a different language from the language of the Original audio language.

Country of Origin

Any configured country

The country that the film comes from.

Other Countries of Origin

Any configured countries

Other countries that the film comes from.

Genre 1

Any configured genre

The genre that the film is classified as. This is shown on the film's details on POS, Kiosk and Vista Web.

Genre 2

Any configured genre

Another genre that the film is classified as. This is shown on the film's details on POS, Kiosk and Vista Web.

Genre 3

Any configured genre

Another genre that the film is classified as. This is shown on the film's details on POS, Kiosk and Vista Web.

Display "adults only" message

Causes a warning to appear if a child ticket is selected for this film on POS or Kiosk. 

Duration (min)

Any time value in minutes

The duration of the feature in minutes.

For example: 93 minutes.

If a marathon film is configured, the duration field is automatically calculated as the total duration of the films configured in the marathon, including break time between films.

Interval start time (min)

Any time value in minutes

The number of minutes into the feature at which the interval starts. Leave blank for no interval.

Credit roll time (min)

Any time value in minutes

The number of minutes into the feature at which the closing credits start.

Opening date

Any date, in your computer's local date format

The date on which the film begins screening.

Opening year

Any year

The year in which the film begins playing

For example: 2021.

Opening week

Any week

The week in which the film begins playing

For example: 51.

HO (Head Office) Code

1–10 characters

This code is used to identify this film in Head Office reports. Use the same code for multiple film records to combine their reporting (such as separate records for the same film in different territories).

For example: A film title may have multiple film profiles configured (i.e. film 2D, digital 2D, digital 3D, IMAX, etc.) with the same HO (Head Office) Code to allow head office to produce consolidated reports.

Alternatively, the HO code field can be used for a Comscore number to extract figures for a film.

Corporate film ID

This ID is used to import film records from external databases. If you have an existing database of films you'd like to import (either a third-party database or your own) contact your Vista representative for assistance. 

Government code

1–20 characters

A unique code allocated by a regulatory body (such as SAFT, CNC) to confirm a film is authorised for screening. Depending on the code you need and the country packs you have installed, you may be able to import this code directly from the regulatory body. Country-specific rules can be applied to this code.

External (third-party) code

1–25 characters

An additional code by which to identify the film to third-party programs. We recommend checking there isn't a more appropriate code first (such as Government code). Contact your Vista representative for assistance.

IVR (Telephone Ticketing) code

1–10 numeric characters

The code used to identify this film in Telephone Ticketing. Customers will dial this code to select this film when they call.

Note: Telephone Ticketing has been replaced by Call Centre. This option exists for compatibility reasons.

MovieXchange code

Any movieXchange film ID

MX Film's ID for this film. When a film is linked to movieXchange, its movieXchange ID is automatically shown here.

MovieXchange ID's are unique to each release of a film. Head Office and Cinema use this number to ensure they are importing information and media for the correct film.

Maccs code

Any Maccs External Title code

Maccs External Title Code for this film. If you export returns data to Maccs, you need to enter this code. You can get this code from Maccs, or by importing the film from MX Film.
