Screens you've created in Head Office can be downloaded to Cinema Manager as part of the regular Head Office download process. This process will check the screen's Allow Download checkbox and Last Modified Date to determine whether the screen is downloaded to Cinema Manager.
Before you begin
- Ensure that you have synced cinema screens with Head Office using the Import from Site functionality in Head Office > Maintenance> Screens.
- In Head Office > Maintenance > Transfer Tables, for Cinema Screen and Screen Layout, ensure you have checked Transfer to Cinema.
Steps
- Go to Head Office > Maintenance > Screens and select the screen you want to download to Cinema Manager.
- Select Allow Download.
Head Office will only send screens to Cinema if the screen has Allow Download selected. This is particularly important to remember if you have linked screens. If you link a screen that has Allow Download selected to a screen that doesn't have Allow Download selected, Head Office will only send the first screen to Cinema. If you want Head Office to send both screens, you must select Allow Download on both screens.
If a particular screen detail or screen layout is edited at Head Office, both screen detail and screen layout are downloaded.
Screen layout details will only be downloaded to Cinema if there are no sessions using that layout, and no broken screens are associated with that layout.
You can receive email notifications for screen downloads by checking Record Download Changes in the Transfer Tables maintenance form in Cinema Manager.
