Cross-site Stock Transfer in Head Office lets you manage, track, and approve stock transfers between sites in your circuit.
The following information describes the purpose and effect of each of the check boxes, lists, and fields in the Cross-Site Stock Transfer.
Note: Depending on your configuration, sections of the web application may be read-only.
Tasks required for Approval
Note: These tasks appear only if they require action.

Indicates that the items for transfer don't yet exist in the receiving site's database. Head Office users can correct this issue at the receiving site and come back and select the check box. |
Quantity Approval Required |

Indicates that the quantity of stock being transferred is over the set limit. Head Office users can approve this information by selecting the check box. If necessary, users can change the limit at the sending site (using system setting StockTransferLimitPercentage), and then come back and select the check box. |
Stock Group Approval Required |

Indicates that the receiving site is not in the same stock group as the sending site. Head Office users can approve this by selecting the check box. If necessary, users can correct the information in Stock Groups, and then come back and select the check box. |

The extended description of the stock transfer. This field might contain additional information about the reason for the stock transfer. This field is automatically populated with the value from Stock Adjustment > Default for Description. |

Qty | N/A | The quantity of the item sent to the receiving site, based on the selected UOM. This quantity can be the amount received, dispatched, wasted, or returned. |

The extended description of the stock transfer. You can add additional information about the reason for the stock transfer here. By default, this field is populated with the value of the Head Com field. |

Wastage

Reason |
Any valid reason for wastage or return. Example: Damaged stock. |
The reason for the wastage or return. You can configure Reasons in Head Office > General Maintenance > Reasons. |
