Marathon films can be allocated to sites in Circuit Planning and to screens for planning weeks in Cinema Planning.

Holdover Sheet may also be used. Component bookings are shown in rows beneath the marathon booking row.

Before you begin

Configure a marathon film.

Note: Marathons are scheduled as one block booking in Circuit Planning and Cinema Planning. The individual component sessions are also created and can be edited using the Marathons docking panel.

Steps

1. Open Cinema Planning to the desired week and site.
2. Drag a marathon film onto the planning grid from one of the following sources:
   • Film Palette
   • New Releases
   • Dropped Films
   • Recent Films
3. Edit any film booking properties as necessary. The Policy determines how many sessions are imported into Program Grid or Program Scheduler.
4. Click Save.
5. (Optional) Send the plan to cinemas from Cinema Planning or Holdover Sheet if you use a distributed process for film programming.
