Marathons can also be scheduled directly in Program Grid or Program Scheduler without the use of a plan.

Before you begin

Configure a marathon film.

Steps

1. Open the application you wish to use to schedule marathons.
2. Click the Edit icon in the ribbon to enable Edit Mode.
3. Open the Film Palette.
4. Drag a marathon onto the Planning Grid.
   

   Note: Unlike in Program Scheduler, a marathon in Program Grid is displayed as a single block. It is possible to edit the properties of the individual sessions in Program Grid, but to view them separately in a planning grid, use Program Scheduler.

5. Edit any session properties as required.
6. Click Save.

Marathon sessions can be downloaded to the cinema's Showtime Manager and can be reviewed and approved as part of the usual film programming process. After download and approval, tickets will be available for sale at POS.
