The holdover sheet mode determines how you make film bookings in Film Manager and Showtime Manager. There are two modes to choose from:
- Screen mode: Film bookings are assigned to specific screens.
- Booking slot/approval mode: Film bookings are made using ranked slots that indicate a film's priority. Top priority films are assigned by cinema managers to the largest (or most appropriate) screen at each cinema. For example, if a new release in Booking Slot 1 is assigned to the largest screen, it will be Screen 1 in Anaheim and Screen 2 in San Jose.
Note: In Booking Slot mode (unlike Booking Approval), if a cinema's sessions have been Approved, any additional sessions or changes must be re-approved.
Steps
- In Head Office, go to Maintenance > System settings.
- Set the system setting HoldoverSheetView to either Screen, Booking Slot or Booking Approval.
- In Cinema Manager, go to Maintenance > System settings.
- Set the system setting HoldoverBookingMode to the same value.
