If printed tickets feature a barcode which can be scanned, POS operators may scan a ticket to start a Check, or open an existing Check that is already associated with the seat.
- On POS, select the Checks page on the Main Selling Screen.
- Scan the barcode on a printed ticket:
- If there is no check already associated with the ticket's seat number, a new check is started with the screen, row, and seat number of the ticket in the Check ID and Location fields, formatted according to the TabIDFormatSeatInfo system setting.
- If there is already an existing check associated with the ticket, that check is automatically opened.
- POS returns to the Main Selling Screen with the new or existing check loaded in the Order Window.
The POS operator can continue with the check order as normal.
