Kitchen screen: Settings panel controls – Help Centre

The Kitchen screen's Settings panel lets you control and manage:

Settings

Setting	Description
Item Summary	Control for a panel that shows a summary of all the food orders currently being prepared or waiting to be prepared.
Held Items	Determines whether held items are shown or hidden on the Kitchen screen.
Orders for all Areas	Determines whether food orders are shown for all services areas. This option is displayed if the Show Orders for All Areas setting is cleared on the Workstation record.
New Order Sound	Determines whether a Windows alert sound is played when a new order appears on the kitchen screen. This setting defaults to On at startup of the kitchen screen. Due to this setting, no sounds are played for any other operations on POS.
Service Area Redirect	Opens the Service Area Redirect screen where users can reroute service areas and kitchen printers.
Selling Limits	Opens the Selling Limits form, where users can set Selling Limits for individual items.
