In a Screens-only or Combination kitchen operations setup, after items have been marked as Made in the Prepare Areas, they are displayed on the Kitchen Screen of the Expeditor Workstation:
- The expeditor assembles dishes from the prepare areas.
Example: The Beef Burger comes from the Hot station, and the Salad that goes with it comes from the Cold station.
- A member of the serving staff collects the dish to deliver to the customer.
- The expeditor selects the item on the kitchen screen, and presses Collected to complete the process.
