You can create Voucher Types that represent booklets of multiple types of vouchers. For example, you might create a Three-Visit Family Pass booklet that contain 6 adult vouchers and 6 child vouchers.
To create Voucher Type records for booklets:
- In Voucher Manager, go to Maintenance > Voucher Types.
- Click Create.
- Configure the basic settings of the Voucher Type tab, just as you would for any other voucher type. Also:
- Set the Units in Book field to determine how many tickets of each type are included in the booklet.
Example: When the Units in Book is set to 5, there will be 5 tickets of each selected voucher type included in the booklet.
- Set the Redeemable Type option to Booklet of Varying Types.
- Set the Units in Book field to determine how many tickets of each type are included in the booklet.
- On the Booklet of Varying Types tab, enter details of the various voucher types that are included in the booklet.
- The Voucher Code must be unique and correspond to the code of the parent voucher type.
Example: You entered the code V9990 on the Voucher Type tab. On the Booklet of Varying Types tab, you create two rows and give the first row a voucher code V9991 and the second row the voucher code V9992.
- Set an effective date for each voucher type included in the booklet.
- Specify an issue and a redemption price for each voucher type included in the booklet.
- The Voucher Code must be unique and correspond to the code of the parent voucher type.
- Configure the Limitations and the Artworks tabs, just as you would for any other voucher type.
- Click Save.
- Click Voucher Prices and select the booklet you just created.
- Specify an issue and a redemption price for the booklet.
- Click Save.
