Private events and public screenings use ticket types in different ways.
- Private Events can use any ticket types that are associated with the Group Sales sales channel. These ticket types must also be included in an active price card that is marked as available to Group Sales. You may want to configure a particular Group Sales price card and ticket types to help track Group Sales ticket sales separately to regular tickets.
- Public Screenings use the price card associated with the scheduled session. For this reason, you must add at least one Group Sales-enabled ticket type to each price card used for sessions in which Public Screening events will take place. Price cards for Public Screenings do not have to be marked as available for Group Sales.
- Distributor Previews do not use tickets. However, in order to be scheduled by film programmers any distributor preview session must have an associated active price card.
