Private Events can use any ticket types that are associated with the Group Sales sales channel. These ticket types must also be included in an active price card that is marked as available to Group Sales.

Setting up a ticket type

1. In Head Office, go to Maintenance > Ticket Types.
2. Create a ticket type with the following configuration:

   Description: Group Sales Private Ticket

   Ticket Class: Group passes

   Area Category

   Sales Tax

3. On the Sale Policy tab, select Group Sales.
4. Repeat steps (i)–(ii) to create each different Group Sales ticket type you require.

Configuring a price card

1. In Head Office, go to Maintenance > Price Cards.
2. On the General tab, enter the name of your price card.

   Example: Group Sales Price Card

3. Ensure Include is selected for your Group Sales ticket type(s).
4. Select Available to Group Sales.

Note: When adding a Film to a Private Event booking, you must specify a Price per Head. This price overrides the standard price of your Group Sales ticket type, so you can price tickets on a case-by-case basis (for example: $12 per Head if more than 150 people; $10 per Head if more than 200 people).
