Setting up location deliveries with Lumos Order

Lumos Order allows your guests to scan, order, and pay using QR codes at various locations, including bowling alley lanes, bar areas, and restaurant tables. This offers your guests the convenience of skipping queues and effortlessly ordering their preferred snacks and drinks right from their seats.

Creating QR codes

You need to create QR codes that link to the locations your guests can have food delivered to.

1. Use a QR code generator to create links using the following template:

   https://[cinema domain]/go/table/[site ID]/[location]

   Example: https://anycinema.com/go/table/1002/Table 1

2. Affix the QR codes somewhere visible in their respective locations, ensuring they are reasonably durable.

Enabling Lumos Order

1. In the Content tab of the Lumos CMS, go to Configuration > Web > Food and beverage > General.
2. Switch on Enable location deliveries.
3. Go to Language Text > [Language] > Global > Food and beverage: Delivery > Location delivery.
4. Edit the fields to change how these labels are displayed on your sales channels.
5. Save.
