You can enable tipping on your Lumos sales channels to make the transaction flow more convenient for both customers and staff. This can also increase staff revenue, motivating exceptional service.
Guests can choose from a set of default tip percentages or define a custom tip by either a specific percentage or an exact value.
Before you begin
Ensure that your Vista representative has configured tips for your Lumos channels.
For Vista staff: Enabling tips for Lumos customers
Steps
- In the Content tab of the Lumos CMS, go to Configuration > [sales channel] > Food and Beverage.
- Switch on either or both of the following settings:
- Enable tips for in-seat delivery
- Enable tips for pick-up orders
- Go to Language Texts > [language] > Global> Food and Beverage > Fees and tips > Tips.
- In each field, enter the required text to be displayed on various buttons and labels on your sales channels.
- Save.
