Setting up the Promo-Payment Engine

Complete the following procedures to set up the Promo-Payment Engine.

1. Enter your Promo-Payment Engine credentials into Service Framework Manager.
2. Activate the Promo-Payment Engine.
3. Create items for reporting revenue offsets.

Entering your Promo-Payment Engine credentials into Service Framework Manager

1. Contact your Vista account manager to obtain a licence for the Promo-Payment Engine.
2. In Service Framework Manager, go to Configuration > Authentication > GAS.
3. Enter your Global Authentication Service credentials.

   You would have received these when you got your licence for the Promo-Payment Engine, or your circuit may have already had a set.

4. Save.

Activating the Promo-Payment Engine

Contact your Vista representative to activate the Promo-Payment Engine.

Note: The Promo-Payment Engine isn't activated by default. It makes your transactions take slightly longer to process, so it's only worth turning on for those who plan to use it.
