Your guests can notify the cinema to start preparing their food and drink order via Living Ticket, saving them time and reducing the lines at your front counters.
Before you begin
Ensure your Vista representative has set a time for concession-only orders to expire.
For Vista staff: Setting a time for concession-only orders to expire.
Cinema Manager
- Set the system setting PreparationRequiresBookingCollection to Y.
- In Cinema Manager, set the system setting PreparationBookingCollectionThresholdMins to the number of minutes before session start time that users can request order preparation.
- Go to Maintenance > Service Areas and open the service area where you want guests to pick up their order.
- Select Allow Pickup.
- Save.
- Go to Maintenance > Service Areas and open the service area where you want staff to prepare F&B orders for pickup.
- Select Allow Prepare and Pickup Area.
- In the Pickup Area dropdown box, select the service area you configured earlier for guests to pick up their order.
- Save.
Lumos CMS
- In the Content tab of the Lumos CMS, go to Configuration > Global > Living ticket > Features.
- Switch on Start my order.
- Go to Language Texts > [Language] > Global > Living Ticket v2.0 > Food and beverage.
- Enter text to be displayed on your living tickets.
- Save.
