You can allow your guests to scan their own food and beverage items at your kiosks. This can decrease the need for extra staff at the front counter, and reduce queues, as well as increasing customer satisfaction and autonomy.
- In Service Framework, go to Lumos Kiosk > General > Business Rules.
- Switch on Enable self-scanning for concessions.
- Under Priority concession checkout method for F&B-only order flow and Priority concession checkout method for ticketing flow, choose whether the 'Select items' screen, or the 'Scan items' screen is displayed on the kiosk by default.
Note: The settings controlling the priority checkout method only apply when self-scanning is enabled.
- In the Lumos CMS, go to Language Texts >[Language] > Kiosk > Food and beverage > Self-checkout.
- Enter text to be displayed on your kiosks when guests scan their own food and beverage items.
