Card definitions

Card definitions are used to set up profiles for cards such as credit cards, and third-party loyalty or membership cards that do not use the Vista Loyalty module.

Extended card ranges can also be used to track different brands or specific types of cards issued by banks.

For example: ABC Bank issues two types of Visa cards associated with different payment plans and interest rates.

This can be used for restricting Promotions to certain types of cards.

Card definitions are set up with a General Ledger Account to which all relevant transactions are posted.
