You can limit a ticket type's availability to transactions where a particular card definition is used for payment.
For example: A ticket type called Visa Special Discount can be restricted so that only patrons using a Visa card as payment can purchase it.
Set up the card
- In Cinema Manager or Head Office, go to .
- Open a card definition.
- Note the card definition's Brand.
For example: Visa Special
You'll need the brand in the next set of steps.
- Under Category, select Member.
- Set up the rest of the card definition as required.
- Save.
Link the card to the ticket type
- In Cinema Manager or Head Office, go to .
- Open a ticket type.
For example: Visa Special Discount
- On the Vouchers tab, select Reusable or Member style ticket.
- Enter the Brand of the card definition that you noted earlier.
For example: Visa Special
- Save.
The ticket type Visa Special Discount is now only available when the Visa card definition is used for payment.
