Creating a new base price card

1. Go to Head Office Manager or Cinema Manager > Maintenance > Price Cards.
2. Click Create.
3. Add all your ticket types to the price card.
4. On the General tab, clear the Available for Sessions checkbox.

   Note: Typically, you'll use derived price cards with sessions, not base price cards.

5. Save the price card record.
6. Open the price card record for the existing price card you wish to make into a derived price card.
7. On the General tab, set the Price Card Type to Derived.
8. Set the large price card created in steps 1–4 as the base price card.
   If the derived price card includes ticket types not included in the proposed base price card, or if Effective From/To dates of included ticket types do not match, a warning prompt will be displayed and the conversion will not be completed.
9. Click Apply.
10. Save the price card record.

11. Repeat steps 5–9 for each existing price card you wish to make into a derived price card.

Note: It might not be possible to have a single base price card from which to derive all your required price cards. Multiple price card groups with distinct base price cards might be necessary.
