Closing sessions with the End of Day Wizard

Using the Cinema Manager system setting CloseDay_AutoCloseSessions, you can make the End of Day Wizard automatically close any open sessions that have already begun during the current business day.

Users will also be prompted to close any sessions for the current business day that haven't screened yet. This stops patrons being able to book tickets for sessions that won't be screened, if a manager has closed the cinema early and forgotten to close sessions due to screen later in the day.

1. In Cinema Manager, go to Maintenance > System Settings.
2. Change CloseDay_AutoCloseSessions to your desired option.
   

   Option	Allowed Values	Description
   CloseDay_AutoCloseSessions	Yes No	Configures the End of Day Wizard to automatically close any Sessions that have already begun during the current business day. Users will also be prompted at the System Integrity checks to close any Sessions that have not yet occurred for the current business day.
