Setting up fund locations for operating funds

Operating funds contain the cash and vouchers you need for the transactions within your business. Examples of operating funds include floats, operating change, and petty cash.

The fund locations you create for operating funds should correspond to the physical locations in which the funds are stored.

For example: Manager's safe, Float safe, Voucher safe.

1. In Cinema Manager or Head Office, create a fund location.
2. Select Allow new funds and Allow fund updates.
3. Clear Accept deposits only and Default deposit location.
4. Save.
