Alternate items

Alternate Items are used to give patrons additional choices when items are sold. Alternate items include the following:

• Parent sales items with Options
• Features
• Modifiers and Modifications Groups
• Upsells

On POS, alternate items are surfaced as a single button that expands to give access to multiple different choices.

Example: A single button for a Parent Sales item called Small Drink may provide the Options to choose a more specific item, such as Small Coke, Small Sprite, Small Fanta.

Tip: Tap Open Line in the order panel to redo the selection of options, features, upsells, or modifiers for that item line.
