Session: A breakdown of sale types, payments received, and movements of payment types associated with the sales session. If you see a big variance between the expected and actual amounts of cash at the workstation, you might want to audit the session in more detail using the Session Activity tab.
Transactions: A more detailed view of transactions in the sales session, sorted by ticket sales and concessions/box office sundry sales. You can also see the number of certain transaction types (refunds, remove lines, start overs, and so on) that you might want to investigate further using the Session Activity tab.
Session Activity: A complete log of all actions performed during the sales session. Each action is recorded with a time stamp and a severity level. You can control what severity level is recorded using the system setting POS.UserLogSeverityLevel. To keep a printed version of this log, select the Audit POS Session by User report from the page header.
Comments: View sales session comments entered by the POS operator, and add your own comment (for example, to note that a staff member left early, or that the session has outstanding variance). You can keep a printed copy of comments as part of the Cashier Session Reconciliation report, run from the page header.
Adjustments: View any adjustments made to the sales session, such as opening floats and returns.
Tabs: View any tabs created at POS during the sales session. Currently open tabs are shown first, and all tabs are sorted by the time they were opened. You can click on any tab to see more details, such as purchase and payment lines. This is useful for investigating tabs with money owing.
