A POS Session refers to a period of time for which a POS terminal is used with a specified operator.
When logging on to POS, a new POS session is started with a unique identification number. When a POS terminal is cashed up and closed, the POS session is completed.
Note: When operating in Cash-Up Mode, the POS Session display is accessed from POS Sessions menu option within Back Office. When operating in CashDesk Mode, the POS Session display is accessed from the main CashDesk screen by right clicking on the POS Session and selecting the POS Session details option.
POS Sessions are listed in the POS Sessions cabinet. Click Open to view POS Session maintenance.
