When you're creating a new purchase order or viewing orders that are in progress, Cinema Manager can suggest the amount of each item to order based on your expected number of admits and your patrons' average item consumption.
- In the purchase order, click Calculate recommended values.
The Forecast settings window will drop down.
- Choose a historical demand period to base admit predictions on.
Note: You must select a minimum of one week. We recommend three weeks as a useful period. Cinema Manager will adjust the Historical period start date automatically, to make sure you're getting data from complete business weeks.
Tip! Select a period in the recent past, or, for significant weeks such as school holidays, select a period from an equivalent time last year.
- Review the Average weekly admits (historical) from that period, and if necessary, change the predicted average weekly admits for your upcoming order period.
- Click Apply.
Tip! To remove items with a quantity of 0 from the purchase order, click Delete items with no order quantity.
Note: Your organisation may have enforced stock limits, either per vendor or for your site as a whole. If you order more than a specific quantity or value of items, a member of staff with the relevant permissions must approve it before it can be finalised.
