During a sales session, you may need to top up an operator's cash drawer with more payment types such as cash or vouchers.
- For any active sales session, select Top up sales session.
- Select the transaction type.
- Select the source fund to take payment types from and the sales session that will receive them.
- Enter quantities or values for the payment types to top up, and click Transfer.
The top-up will appear under In Transit on the Fund status page until the POS operator confirms it by creating a new float adjustment at their workstation.
Note: The payment types you include in the sales session top-up will be tracked and recorded separately to the amount in the float at that workstation.
