Set up your venue facilities for hire through Group Sales bookings. The Venue Facilities form is located in Head Office > Maintenance > Venue Facilities.

The Display Category of the facility. You can use this to display multiple billable elements under a single category on invoices. |
Override Default Hourly Rate for Facility Type |

Restaurant tab
Note: This tab is only available when the venue facility has a facility type of the classification Restaurant.

Max Reservable Tables POS (%) |

The maximum number of tables in the restaurant that can be booked in advance on POS, as a percentage of all tables in the restaurant. Example: If your restaurant contains 70 tables, but you want to keep 35 tables free for walk-in customers, set this value to 50%.

Max Reservable Tables Web (%) |

The maximum number of tables in the restaurant that can be booked in advance on Vista Web, as a percentage of all tables in the restaurant. Example: If your restaurant contains 70 tables, but you want to keep 20 tables free for walk-in customers and keep 15 tables for POS reservations, set this value to 50%.

The maximum number of days in advance that patrons can book tables. Note: You can override the advance booking limit for special events such as public holidays using the Exceptions form. |
Max Empty Seats per Booking |

The maximum number of empty seats allowed at a table per booking. Example: Setting this value to 2 would prevent a booking of 5 patrons being seated at a table with more than 7 seats. |
Max Guests per Booking |

The maximum number of guests per booking. |
Booking Increment (mins) |

The number of minutes used to increment booking times, and to give booking time suggestions when taking online bookings. Example: If set to 15, patrons can make a booking for 6.30pm, 6.45pm, 7.00pm, and so on. |
Default Booking Duration (mins) |

The default length of a booking, in minutes. You can use the grid to manually assign booking durations based on the number of patrons in the booking. |
Booking Window +/- (mins) |
30–600 |
When making online bookings, this value determines how many minutes booking suggestions are shown before and after the patron's desired time. Example: If a patron requests a booking for 7.00pm and the booking window is 60, suggestions will be shown for booking times between 6.00pm and 8.00pm. |
Late Booking Alert (mins) |
0–99 |
If patrons have not arrived for a table booking within the specified number of minutes after the booking time, the booking will appear red on the POS table bookings screen. |
Opening Hours tab
Note: This tab is only available when the venue facility has a facility type of the classification Restaurant.
