To provide visibility of how far a sale progressed before being cancelled, unsuccessful group sales can be marked as either a Lost Opportunity or Cancelled in Group Sales.
Steps
- Mark your group sale as a Lost Opportunity.
(i) On the Group Sales homepage, select your group sale.
Group sales can be marked as a Lost Opportunity during the Inquiry, and Inquiry Follow-Up stage of the sales process.
(ii) Click
.The group sale is no longer visible on the Group Sales homepage.
- Mark your group sale as Cancelled.
(i) On the Group Sales homepage, select your group sale.
Group sales can be marked as a cancelled once they have reached the Tentative or Confirmed stage of the sales process.
(ii) Click
.The group sale is no longer visible on the Group Sales homepage.
Note: In Film Programming, a Lost Opportunity or Cancelled group sale will be marked as 'To be Deleted'. If the session is not currently open, or has not been exported, it will be automatically removed from the schedule. If it is currently open or has been exported, the film programmer will receive an alert notifying them that the group sale has been cancelled. If your organisation conducts scheduling of group sales bookings at Vista Cinema, the session will not be automatically removed from the schedule and you will need to manually notify the programmer.
