Corporate booking approval and scheduling

Group Sales integrates with Film Manager and Cinema Manager. This enables the approval and scheduling process of a group sale to be carried out by either of two distinct methods, depending on your business requirements.

• Film Manager: If your circuit uses Program Grid or Program Scheduler to schedule sessions, group sales can be sent to your cinema's film programmers for approval once the sale has reached Inquiry Follow Up status.

Note: If your cinema uses Film Manager's Holdover Sheet or Cinema Planning, use Cinema Manager for group sales approval and scheduling.

• Cinema Manager: If your circuit gives control of approving and scheduling sessions to cinema managers, group sales are visible as Corporate Bookings in the Corporate Bookings gadget or the Corporate Booking panel in Showtime Manager. Sessions for corporate bookings are scheduled inside Showtime Manager.

Note: Group sales are sent to Cinema Manager as corporate bookings using Head Office Downloads. Ensure Head Office Downloads are set up.

Film programmers may also accept or reject changes to a scheduled corporate booking that were made in Group Sales after applying for corporate booking approval. If the edited corporate booking is approved, the scheduled session is automatically updated with the new details. If the corporate booking is rejected, the associated scheduled session is automatically removed from Program Grid or Program Scheduler.

If your organisation conducts scheduling of group sales bookings in Cinema Manager, the approved/rejected session will not be automatically updated or removed from the schedule.
