You can add tickets from the Group Sales price card without selecting a session. This allows you to provide customers with a price estimate before sessions are available for the booking day.
An Action Point will notify you when sessions are available for selection. You can then finalise the booking.
- In Companies and Contacts, search for your contact.
- Browse to the Events page.
- Select Ticket from the Add... menu.
A dialog box opens allowing you to add tickets that are not linked to a session.
- Select a Price Card, and add tickets as required.
Note: Ticket types and prices are generated from the selected price card available for the day of the booking.
For example: Most cinemas will have a 'value' or 'bargain' day of the week with discounted film prices.
Note: When adding a Film after sessions have become available, the ticket types and quantities stay the same, and the prices are updated according to the session's price card.
