This task creates an extract of your box office returns for the reporting company Comscore (formerly Rentrak).
The task's main purpose is to report changes to a film's tier on the Post-Sale Ticket Value Adjustments (PSTVA) form to Comscore. This requires some set up on the PSTVA form, and on this task. Once that setup is complete, Head Office uses this task to report those changes.
Important! You can run this task manually to report box office returns from specific sites and date ranges, but we don't recommend it. This may interfere with data you've sent to Comscore in the past.
Behaviour
This task extracts your box office returns data based on its task and configuration file parameters. The extract is then delivered using the FTP details specified by its configuration file.
You can set up Head Office to report changes to a film's tier on the PSTVA form to Comscore. Head Office uses this task to report those changes, and provides values for the SiteID, FromDate, and ToDate parameters.
