Once your schedule has been reviewed and finalised, you can open your sessions for sale.
Opening a session has the following effects:
- The session becomes available for ticket sales at POS and any other sales channels you've enabled.
- You may not be able to change certain settings, such as the start time (depending on your system settings).
- Once tickets have been sold, you can no longer delete the session.
- If you want to move the session to a different screen, you must perform a session swap and reallocate assigned seats.
Steps
To open one or more sessions:
- In Film Manager or Cinema Manager, go to Showtime Manager.
-
Select the planned sessions.
Tip: To select multiple sessions, click and drag to highlight the sessions you want. Alternatively, hold Control and click on multiple sessions.
- In the quick access toolbar, set the Session status to Open.
- The system warns you that the sessions will be available for ticket sales. Click Continue.
- Click Save.
To open all sessions in the week you are viewing:
- In Film Manager or Cinema Manager, go to Showtime Manager.
- Deselect all sessions by clicking on the background of the schedule.
