You can add, modify, and delete bookings in bulk on the Circuit Planning page in Film Manager. This lets you update your entire circuit at once for multiple weeks, rather than individually updating the holdover sheets for each site and week.
Adding film bookings in bulk
Tip: You can also book new film releases for your whole circuit using the release schedule. The bulk add feature is useful for booking films that are not available on the release schedule or have some non-standard properties.
- In Film Manager, go to Circuit Planning.
- Select the Planning Group you want to update.
- Click the
menu button next to the week.
- Select Bulk add films.
- Use the search bar to find the film you want to book.
-
Select whether to book Normal screenings or Advance Screenings.
Note: The Custom option is similar to Normal, but allows you to select a specific print number instead of assigning print numbers automatically.
- Enter the properties and attributes for the new bookings.
- To add these bookings to the Playing section of the holdover sheet immediately, enable Add bookings to Playing section. If this is disabled, the bookings will appear in the Unassigned section of the holdover sheet.
- Add Comments that will appear on the bookings.
- Click Next: Plan weeks.
- Select the weeks to add bookings to, then click Next: Confirm.
- Select the sites to add bookings to, and enter the number of prints to add to each site.
- Click Add.
To edit the bookings, open the holdover sheet for each site by hovering over the week and clicking Holdover. Alternatively, if you are ready to send the holdover sheets immediately, click Send holdover.
Note: For more about film booking properties, see Understanding booking properties.
