You can create new distribution orders using the Distribution Order maintenance form in Head Office. Distribution orders let you send items from Head Office or a third-party supplier to your cinemas, catering to the requirement of promotions where cinemas receive centrally managed materials.

You can also use the Distribution Order form to set up orders from a vendor can be set up for several cinemas. A vendor can have a delivery to different cinemas, delivering a number of different items.

Distribution orders appear as expected receipts at the cinema and can be used to receive against during the receiving process.

Option	Allowed Values	Description
Order Number	Alphanumeric	The order number provided to the Vendor.
Vendor	Any configured Vendor	The supplier of the materials.
Order Date		The date on which the order was placed.
Expected Delivery		The date on which the order is expected to be delivered. Note: If the order is being delivered to multiple cinemas, an Expected Delivery date can be set for each cinema on in its row.
Comment	Alphanumeric	An optional comment about the order.
Status		Indicates whether the order has been transmitted to Vista Cinema (that is, Send to Cinema has been pressed), for booking in as an Expected Receipt. Open: The order has not yet been sent to Vista Cinema, and can still be edited. Sent: The order has been sent to Vista Cinema, and can no longer be edited.
Cinema	Any configured cinema	A cinema to which the order will be delivered.
Expected Delivery	Date only (no time)	The expected delivery date to the cinema on this row.
Item Description	Any configured Item	The Description of the Item being delivered to the cinema on this row.
Qty	Any quantity value	The quantity being delivered to the cinema on this row.
UOM		The configured Unit of Measure of the Item being delivered to the cinema on this row.
Send Status		Indicates whether the order has been transmitted to this Vista Cinema (that is, Send to Cinema has been pressed), for booking in as an Expected Receipt. Open: The order has not yet been sent to this instance of Vista Cinema, and can still be edited. Sent: The order has been sent to this instance of Vista Cinema, and can no longer be edited.
Item Description	Any configured Item	The Description of the Item being delivered to the cinema on this row.
Qty	Any quantity value	The quantity being delivered to the cinema on this row.
