Cinema Groups form – Help Centre

Use the Cinema Groups maintenance form in Head Office to put cinemas into groups. Cinema groups let you:

Categorise cinemas according to different attributes (for example, urban and rural)
Easily link records to multiple groups at once

Note: A cinema can belong to more than one group. It's not recommended that a cinema belong to a mutually exclusive group, such as City Cinemas and Country Cinemas.

Option	Allowed Values	Description
Cinema Groups	Any configured Cinema Group	Select a configured Cinema Group from the dropdown to determine which Cinemas are included.
Cinema Group Name	1–30 characters	The name of the Cinema Group. For example: City Cinemas, Country Cinemas.
Available Cinemas	Any configured Cinema not included in the Group	The Cinemas that have not yet, but can be, configured as included in the Cinema Group.
Cinemas in Group	Any configured Cinema included in the Group	The Cinemas that have already been configured as included in the Cinema Group.
>		Adds the selected Available Cinema(s) to the Cinema Group.
>>		Adds all Available Cinemas to the Cinema Group.
<<		Removes all Cinemas from the Cinema Group.
<		Removes the selected Cinema(s) from the Cinema Group.
