Countries are used to assign a film copyright percentage for the Film showing in the selected country.
Copyright percentage is referred to as Film Hire Adjustment in the Country Maintenance and Film Maintenance form. This percentage may vary based on where the film was made.
The Film Hire Adjustment associated with the selected country is automatically populated for the Film and can be manually overridden. Once saved, the adjustment percentage will be deducted before film hire is calculated.
Note: It is possible for both Country and Film Hire Adjustment to be empty on the Film Maintenance form. These can also be populated independently of each other. The adjustment populated by the Country is the default.
