A film territory is the region (often a country) a film release is intended to be shown in. That release may have changes to cater to that region, such as censor rating.
For these circuits operating in multiple film territories, adding a film territory can simplify operations such as film scheduling.
Note: We recommend leaving this setting disabled if your circuit operates in only one film territory as you won't receive much benefit from enabling film territories.
Enabling film territories
- In Head Office, got to System Settings.
- Enable the setting EnableFilmTerritory.
Film territories are enabled. You'll be required to select a film territory each time you save a film record. Film titles now include the code of their film territory.
