Create Copy |
Creates copies of any selected workstation profiles. Row copies are created at the bottom of the grid with identical values to the original profiles, except for Workstation ID and Name. |
Function Template |
Click to open the Function Template maintenance form to edit the record assigned to the currently selected row. |
Hardware Template |
Click to open the Hardware Template maintenance form to edit the record assigned to the currently selected row. |
Workstation |
Click to open the Workstation maintenance form to edit the record assigned to the currently selected row. |
Workstation Map fields

Workstation ID |
1-10 characters |
The Windows PC network name used to identify the POS terminal. |
Workstation Name |

The name used to identify the Workstation. |
Function Template |
Any configured Function Template |
The selected Hardware Template settings will be copied to the relevant settings on the Workstation maintenance form. |
Hardware Template |
Any configured Hardware Template |
The selected Hardware Template settings will be copied to the relevant settings on the Workstation maintenance form. |
Enabled |
Cleared Selected |
If the checkbox is selected, the Workstation will be configured as enabled. This will allow POS to open and a User to log on. |
Location |
Any configured Stock Location |
The default Stock Location of the Workstation. When a Concession Item is sold from the workstation, it will be recorded as coming from the default configured stock location. |
Initial Screen |
Any configured Cinema Screen |
The Cinema Screen whose sessions are displayed first on the POS terminal. |
Allow Offline Booking Pickup |

If the checkbox is selected, bookings can be picked up from this Workstation when POS is offline; if the checkbox is cleared, POS must be online to perform booking pickups. |
Workstation for Remote Stock Audit |

Indicates the Workstation used for remote stock audits from the Head Office Stock Movement inquiry, when auditors add a stock movement. Only one Workstation can be selected for remote stock audits. To complete a remote stock audit at site, a Workstation must be specified. Note: Only Active Workstations can use this option. |

Determines which sessions are displayed on the Tickets Screen on POS. Sessions can be displayed for All Cinemas, or for a specific selected Cinema. |

When a Concession Item configured as Requires Preparing is sold at the Workstation, it will be sent to the selected Prepare Area. Note: Individual items can be configured with specific prepare areas which will override this setting. |
Master Kitchen Screen Service Areas |

The Workstation functions as the Master/Expo screen for the selected Service Areas, used by the Expeditor assembling orders from different prepare stations for collection by waiting staff. |
Kitchen Master Printer |

If the checkbox is selected, the Workstation will prints duplicates of other workstation's Pickup and Prepare Slips. Pickup slips are printed as simple copies, while prepare slips are consolidated to a single slip per transaction. Tip! Choose one workstation to be the Kitchen Master Printer to make a full set of duplicate slips available to kitchen management, without affecting normal kitchen operation. Note: Only one configured workstation may have this option selected. If a record is saved with the field selected, all other records will have the Kitchen Master Printer field cleared. This setting is not compatible with the Printer settings Master Kitchen Printer for Prepare Slips and Master Kitchen Printer for Pickup Slips. |
