The Cinema Type maintenance form lets you create and edit different classifications of cinemas. For example, IMAX, Arthouse, Mainstream.

Cinema types can be used to restrict the availability of Loyalty recognitions.

Configuring a cinema type

Option	Allowed Values	Description
Code	1–10 characters	A unique code by which to identify the Cinema Type.
Description	1–50 characters	The name of the Cinema Type. For example: Metropolitan
Short Code	1–10 characters	A short name for the Cinema Type. This will be used if the full Description is too long. For example: Metro
Is Default Cinema Type	Cleared Selected	If the checkbox is selected, the Cinema Type will be the default. Note: Only one configured cinema type may have this option selected. If a record is saved with this field selected, all other records will have the Default Cinema Type field cleared.
Report Sequence	Any number	A number indicating the order in which the Cinema Type appears on Reports. A Report Sequence of 1 indicates that the cinema type is listed first on reports; higher numbers indicate a later position in the reports.
