A Cinema Type, such as IMAX or arthouse, classifies a cinema for comparative performance reporting. Cinema types can also be used to restrict the availability of Loyalty recognitions.
The Cinema Type maintenance form lets you create and edit different classifications of cinemas.
Configuring a cinema type
- In Head Office or Voucher Manager, go to Maintenance > Cinema Types.
In Loyalty, go to Loyalty Admin > Cinema > Cinema Types. - In Head Office or Voucher Manager, click Create.
In Loyalty, click Add New Record. - Enter the details of the new cinema type.
- In Head Office or Voucher Manager, click Save.
In Loyalty, click Save Cinema Type.
Note: You can delete cinema types when they're no longer in use to ensure they're not included in reports by mistake. You can't delete the record that is set as the default cinema type.
