The Film Languages maintenance form in Cinema Manager and Head Office lets you manage languages and whether they are available to films as audio or subtitles.

When the Used for Subtitles checkbox is checked, the language being defined is made available as a subtitles option that can be selected in Film maintenance and subsequently Session maintenance. |
Audio Attribute |
Any one attribute option |
An attribute defined in Attribute Maintenance as Audio Language. When an Audio Attribute is selected in Film Language Maintenance when defining a language, the attribute is inherited by any session that uses the language for audio. |
Subtitles Attribute |
Any one attribute option |
An attribute defined in Attribute maintenance as Subtitles Language. When a Subtitles Attribute is selected in Film Language maintenance when defining a language, the attribute is inherited by any session that uses the language for subtitles. |
IETF Tag |

An abbreviated language code (read-only) that represents the language being defined in Film Language maintenance. This tag is automatically populated when languages are activated in Film Language maintenance. For example: en represents English, and fr-CA represents Canadian French. |
Status |
Active Inactive To be deleted |
Status indicates whether a particular language is available (active) or unavailable (inactive, to be deleted) for use in Film Maintenance and Session Maintenance. Status is only displayed in the Show Inactive Records view of Film Language Maintenance. |
